MEGAL BR7“NS” bullet-resistant glass is a laminated glazing system which, provides protection against rifle fire, in particular against 7.62 × 51 mm NATO ammunition with a hardened core. It is the highest ballistic protection class specified for bullet-resistant glass under the EN 1063 standard used in construction and is used in facilities of critical security importance. The “NS” (Splinter) designation indicates that no glass fragments are produced on the protected side after impact.

Applications: military and strategic facilities with the highest level of security, embassies, command centres, security checkpoints, VIP protection installations, and critical infrastructure requiring the highest level of ballistic protection.

BR7"NS" bullet-resistant glass is also available in insulating glass units.
